Sentosa Express  

Get on the express track to Sentosa!

The new S$140 million Sentosa express now offers visitors a faster, more convenient and efficient way to get to Sentosa! Visitors will be able to conveniently transfer from the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network at HarbourFront MRT Station to Sentosa’s modern high-tech train system, which will bring them directly into the island under 10 minutes.

Starting from Sentosa Station located on the third level of VivoCity, the driver-operated Sentosa Express functions at a capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour, bringing visitors to the island’s key activity points.

The 4 stations are: Sentosa Station, Waterfront Station, Imbiah Station and the Beach station.

Cable Car

Feel on top of the world as you ride some 90 meters above water and tropical rainforest and enjoy magnificent aerial views of Sentosa Island, Singapore’s city Skyscrapers, one of the world’s busiest harbour and the Southern Islands.

Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom

Stroll through the lush surrounds of the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom and marvel at 1,500 live butterflies- over 50 species –fluttering around you at this cool outdoor conservatory. Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom are also home to 3,000 species of some of the world’s most beautiful and rarest insects. It is one of the largest collections in Asia.

Sky Tower

Get a great view from 131m above sea level at the revolving Sky Tower, Asia’s tallest observatory tower. Built at a cost of US$4 million, the Carlsberg Sky Tower is one of the 13 observation towers in the world.

Sentosa 4D Magix

For a mind-blowing interactive experience, nothing beats Sentosa 4D Magix! Built at a cost of S$3.5 million, this state-of-the-art theatre offers you a whole new generation of movie magic. Through the synchronization of a full spectrum of visual effects, surround sound, individually-controlled motion seats and special live environmental effects such as water spray, all your senses will be fully engaged like never before!

Sentosa Luge & Skyride

Operating on the principles of gravity, the luge cart combines a unique steering and braking system that provides the rider total control to either race down or leisurely cruise along a 650 meter specially-designed paves trail. Then, take the Skyride through a scenic 320-meter long tree-top ride to the starting point to do it all over again.

The Merlion

Venture into the Merlion at Sentosa, Singapore’s tallest icon at 37m high, and enjoy the panoramic views of Sentosa and the surrounding islands. Discover the myths and legend of the Lion City in an animated film, then toss gold coins into the Mercubs mouths to bring home a special Sentosa souvenir!

Whatever your idea of a perfect day may be – being entertained at the animal show or joining the Fort Siloso Tours – Sentosa is well-equipped to ensure you leave the island with a smile on your face.

Fort Siloso Tours

Magnificently restored. Fort Siloso is the largest repository of World War II memorabilia. A premier historical example of coastal defense fortification, tour the fort’s structures and tunnels to experience what life was like for soldiers during wartime. Life-sized replicas, interactive exhibits and even authentic aromas are lovingly recreated. You’ll get to browse through more than 245 photographs, documents and film clips on display, handle real-life historical guns and cannons, or explore the old tunnels. Not to be missed is a trip to the Surrender Chambers for a view of the turning point in wartime history.

Underwater World

Venture into a large acrylic tunnel via an 83 meter long moving travellator and get up close and be dazzled by the wealth of marine life in this impressive oceanarium.

Step into an imaginative, challenging and scenic golf experience in Singapore. The Sentosa Golf Club home to the Singapore Open 2006 in September, one of the top 5 richest national open in the world with a prize purse of US$3 million.

Songs of the Sea

Songs of the sea- Singapore’s multi-sensory extravaganza- is a world class water show comprising dramatic effects, water jets, lasers, bursts of fire and foot-tapping music set in the sea. Meet Oscar and his friends as they embark on an enchanted adventure!


Built at a cost of S$31 million and designed by world-renowned and internationally acclaimed Yves Pepin, this new nightly attraction, opening in April 2007, is the only such attraction in this region which operates in the sea for spectators to watch ashore.

The open-air amphitheater sits a capacity of 2,500 and is conveniently located next to the Sentosa Express Beach Station at Palawan Beach. With two shows nightly, be transported into the enchanted world where mystical sea creatures, a dashing young hero, beautiful young princess and all things magical come to life before your very eyes!

Beaches

Thrilling good times by the sun, sand and sea. Pump up the action or simply chill out along the 3.2km long stretch of golden beaches on Sentosa. Sentosa’s beaches are also home to some of Singapore’s most exciting dance festivals, concerts and New Year Eve’s party events.

Siloso Beach

The unofficial home for the young and active. Siloso beach is also a popular place for canoeing, skim boarding, mountain biking or rollerblading. Dance the night away at our year-end party, Siloso Beach Party- Asia’s grooviest

Shopaholics will love hip stores such as Billabong Boutique or the Island life retail shop. Chill out at the beachfront bars and pubs, or wine and dine at the latest F&B outlets. For a taste of Ibiza, head on down to Café Del Mar, the sexiest spot on Sentosa complete with eclectic and laid back sounds.

Palawan Beach

After a S$20 million makeover, Palawan Beach now boasts a galore of food, retail and recreation options n this rejuvenated family beach set in white fine sands and the blue ocean.

Reach the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia via a suspension bridge or catch the Animal & Bird encounters at the new open-air 300seat amphitheater. Foodies can rejoice with authentic vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian and Fusion Cuisine at Samundar or grab a bite at Koufu food court. Tanjong Beach

Enjoy the tranquility and solitude at Tanjong Beach, the quietest stretch at the eastern end of the island.
