Oasis  

New Poolside Restaurant!

Oasis is Grand Hyatt hotel’s new all-day dining poolside restaurant located at the newly refurbished Terrace Wing. Situated amid lush greenery and in open-air and tranquil surroundings, Oasis is a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant has intimate corners for four persons and a semi-private area at the gazebo that is perfect for groups of up to 10.

The restaurant has an all-day a la carte menu with breakfast items, Asian and Western dishes and dessert. The highlight is a weekly barbecue dinner on Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. It offers perfectly grilled meats, sausages and ocean fresh seafood prepared a la minute from a custom made charcoal grill. The special introductory price of $60 includes a free flow of beer, wines and soft drinks.

Easter Feast

In true holiday feasting spirit, this Easter Sunday Brunch showcases a scrumptious spread of Japanese, Middle Eastern, Indian, Thai and European specialities. There are succulent meats and seafood such as Angus Tenderloin, Lamb T-bone and Meat Kebabs from live barbecue stations. And there is also a Crustacean Counter with fresh Oysters, Tiger Prawns and Lobsters for the seafood lovers.

For the children, there are popular favourites such as pop corn, cotton candy and hot dogs as well as a cookie making counter for them to try their hands at being a chef. Definitely not to be missed is the dessert section with a la minute hot cross buns and soufflés alongside Western, Thai and local favourites.

New Executive Chef at the Refurbished Hai Tien Lo  

With a background of 19 years of culinary experience, Chef Lai Tong Ping has been appointed to head the team at Hai Tien Lo. Perched atop the Pan Pacific Hotel, Hai Tien Lo is one of Singapore’s premium sky dining destinations since its launch in 1986. The award-winning restaurant is known for innovative Cantonese cuisine and recently concluded refurbishment in January.

Chef Lai is introducing 10 signature dishes that will be added to the existing award-winning dishes. His attention to detail is evident in dishes such as the Chef’s Special Trio of Treasures, Fried Imperial Swiftlet’s Nest in Egg White served with Superior Stock, Boiled Kai Lan served on ice with Wasabi Sauce, Fragrant Coconut Seafood Fried Rice and Fillet of Cod in Japanese Sake Sauce.

Le Baroque  

New Live Band Dinner Venue!

Located near the central fountain courtyard of Chijmes, a stunning
historical enclave of bars and restaurants, Le Baroque is a live band cum
restaurant and bar concept.

From wrought-iron chandeliers and seductive Adam and Eve paintings to
Roman-influenced columns and gold tinged walls, the décor is modern gothic.
The main feature of the Le Baroque is a 12-metre curved bar counter and a
4-metre well-stocked, suspended liquor rack.

Local band “True Colors” sizzles on stage every night with a repertoire of
dance tunes and Top 40 favourites. A dinner menu is available from 6-11pm,
while a supper menu is dished out from 11pm. There is ample seating outdoors
by the landscaped courtyard.

Afternoon Tea Treats at Sheraton Towers

Few experiences can be more delightful than an indulgent afternoon tucking into a sumptuous tea spread. At Sheraton Towers, the ambience is even more relaxing with a stunning view of lush foliage and a cascading waterfall as you dine in air-conditioned comfort.

Start with unlimited helpings of New York style deli sandwiches at the live station where chefs create sandwiches to your liking such as smoked salmon with cream cheese and proscuitto ham with pickled olives. You will also be served finger sandwiches such as smoked turkey breast with comte cheese and spicy chilli tuna with Bombay onions as well as scones with homemade cream and jam.

Fans of Asian fare will not be disappointed with a spread of popular favourites such as laksa, mee siam and carrot cake. Other savoury must-tries include traditional glutinous rice and Pad Thai noodles.

Finally, the dessert spread includes durian pengat, aloe vera jelly with calamansi sorbet, pineapple pecan carrot cake, strawberry shortcake and sticky date pudding with vanilla sauce.
